A Nigerian man of Bayelsa origin is said to be making an attempt to break the Guiness world record by covering 52 km with a ball placed on his head.
This is the second attempt of Tonye Solomon after rain dealt him a heavy blow in his first attempt few weeks ago in Bayelsa.
The current title holder is also a Nigerian Chinedu Harrison who ply his footballing trade in Cambodia, after dethroning the former champion Indian soldier Naib Singh when he walked a distance of 48.04km in six hours,15 minutes to upset Naib Singhs records.
Tonye Solomon started his journey from Amassoma town en-route Tombia town, Agudama-epie with the finish line at peace Park, Yenagoa, Bayalsa State. Tonye Solomon is expected to travel a distance of about 52km with the ball on his head.
