The Minister of Youth and Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung, has apologised to players and officials of Nigeria’s Olympic football team for the challenges they faced, leading to their arrival at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
He further pleaded with the players to bare with them as plans were being made to make up for all the slacks and issues experienced by the team.
The apology was done right after the team secured their second win in the tournament. They beat the Swedish national team 1 – 0.
