The Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA) said a tanker laden with PMS in the early hours of Sunday fell on a car at Ikorodu.
The agency said it got a distress call via Lagos State emergency number, 767/112 regarding the incident. According to LASEMA, the tanker belonging to Forte Oil while trying to make a turn at a round about fell on a Hyundai Saloon Car with registration number KJA 421 AH.
The agency said prompt arrival of the Lagos State Fire Service, LASTMA, Civil Defense, FRSC and Nigeria Police prevented the incident from becoming a disaster because of the oil spillage.
