For Nollywood Yoruba actress, Opeyemi Aiyeola, it’s time to have a stronghold in the movie industry. This must have dictated the move to float the Opeyemi Aiyeola Films Limited in Lagos.
The actress, who is based abroad and living with her family, is currently in Nigeria and has recently, opened her Lagos office/ rehearsal centre to the public. The office which is situated in Oke Afa, Isolo, Lagos is tastefully furnished and equipped for production of movies. The opening was graced by Veteran actor, Yinka Quadri, actress Iyabo Ojo and more.
On why she has been off production for sometimes, the bubbly actress declared during her second son’s birthday:
“People ask me all the time,' Ope why did u sacrifice ur career for family?, why did u leave at a time u were hotter than hot?, U could be up there by now, U could be getting most hot deals n endorsements, ur career would have blown supa huge!!!!. I look at them and always think n say to myself, 'ignorance' and 'petty'. Now I am glad n proud to answer those questions. This is one of the reasons why. Abandoning my career to have lovely, handsome, glorious, blessed, intelligent, world changer boys is why. If given the grace and opportunity I will do same over and over again. My pride, my prince, my joy, my future, my wealth, my endorsement, my primary career, words can't express how honoured and grateful to God I am for the grace to be Ur caretaker….” (sic)
Gushing about her new office, she said "Opeyemi's song of praise:My heart thus magnify the Lord, My spirit praise his name because he has been too good to me.Like Thomas I had doubted u, like Peter I had denied u, like Saul( Paul )I had persecuted u, like David I had committed diverse sins, like Moses I am quick to anger, like Adam I blame others for my mistakes, like Martha ( Lazarus sis ) I have been faithless , like the Prodigal son I have been carelessly lavish yet u my Lord n my God have never given up on me. Uve reminded faithful, sure, supportive, protective, forgiving........ Daddy, youve made the rejected stone the chief corner stone. For your love ❤️ I say ' Ose baba' .
