Ganduje was reacting to questions from State House correspondents after a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
“I came to brief Mr President on the security situation in Kano especially on the fallout from the North Eastern part of this country in which some of the Boko Haram (insurgents) kidnappers will like to dominate Falgore where they will be operating to other parts of the North Western part of the country.
“So, the security agencies are working very hard and a lot of arrest had been made, investigation is going on.
“We will not allow them to dominate Kano and to make it as a launching pad.
“Certainly, we expect if they are dismantled from the North East part of this country they will find another location and Kano being an older city, is an attractive place for such elements to come in.”
He said that security agencies have apprehended three persons believed to be leaders of the criminal group.
The governor, who is the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress’ Technical Committee on Rivers by-elections, expressed optimism that all the APC candidates would emerge victorious in the exercise.

Pastor Ernest Mbanefo denies ownership of MMM
Pastor Ernest Mbanefo, the man, who is believed to be the founder of the ponzi scheme currently making waves in Nigeria has denied ownership of the scheme.
The media was awash with the news on Friday that the South Africa-based pastor was the owner of MMM Nigeria, a ponzi scheme that promised its members 30 per cent return on investments.
According to an online report quoted by NAN, Mbanefo is based in South Africa.
Nigerian Communications Week said Mbanefo registered the site, MMM-Nigeria.net domain, on June 7, 2016 at about 5pm Nigerian time.
NCW quoting Pageone report written back in September said Mbanefo made a single-year domain payment. The domain will expire on June 7, 2017.
It was also revealed that MMM Nigeria is not part of MMM Global – a Russian company that was responsible for one of the world’s largest Ponzi schemes in the 1990s.
MMM Global was founded by Russian politician Sergei Mavrodi, his brother Vyacheslav Mavrodi and Olga Melnikova.
The name of the company was taken from the first letters of the three founders’ surnames (MMM)
But reacting to the development, Mbanefo described the story as untrue and baseless.
He explained that he used his website, mmm-nigeria.net to tutor interested investors on the workings of the scheme and thereafter direct them to register on the official nigeria.mmm.net website.
He said, “I do not own MMM Nigeria.
“The original website of MMM Nigeria is nigeria-mmm.net.
“All I’ve done is to use my knowledge of web designing to launch mmm-nigeria.net.”
On his affiliation with Sergei Mavrodi, the promoter of MMM Global, Mbanefo said, ”I have never met Sergei Mavrodi before. Mavrodi does not not even know about my activities in the MMM programme. “
