Hours ago, Gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey posted the photo above on his Instagram page and many of his followers (including me, lol) claimed it and wrote 'Amen' in the comment section.
Apparently the prayer did not go down well with some of his followers, as they saw it as a prayer for Lazy people.
Interestingly, the happily married father of one, Nathaniel responded to the criticism in this new piece below:
Today I prayed for my friends on social media to receive alerts of unexpected monies. But some won't even think before they say it's a bad prayer. Okay let me explain.
For example, God puts it in an uncle or Aunty's heart who may not have contacted you in years to send you some money, is that corruption?
your office decides to pay a bonus they would not normally pay, is that corruption?
Someone appears to say they are paying back monies owed your family, that may have been forgotten, is that corruption?
An investment that went wrong, supernaturally comes back to life, and you are paid? Is that corruption. And so on and so forth.
Believe it or not, I experience this every other week. And this has gone on for years now.
I believe in the favour of God, and also in hard work. I earn money from both ends.
One of the commenters said, it's a lazy man's prayer. And He or She doesn't even know that hard and smart work is what I'm known for.
But hey! I know about the supernatural edge of financial blessings.
so for my pad-happy friends that comment first, before they think. Repent.lol //
