2Face Idibia recently announced that himself alongside other well meaning Nigerians would be marching out en-masse against the Nigerian Government and a number of people slammed him for his plan.

Notable among those who slammed him was Professor Adetoye who openly slammed and chastised the singer for calling people to join him with the protest. After receiving several backlash from people, the Professor has written an open apology to the singer.
He wrote on Facebook that he condemned the protest out of the love he has for the nation and admitted that he was very harsh in his criticism.
