Trump order: US State Department reverses travel ban
United States has announced that it will comply with a federal judge’s temporary halt on President Donald Trump’s travel ban.
The development will restore travel for refugees and people from seven Muslim-majority countries.
On Saturday, US State Department said it had reversed visa revocations meaning that thousands of people whose visas were not physically canceled after the issuing of the executive order last week may now travel freely.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) assured it would comply with the court order.
“In accordance with the judge’s ruling, DHS has suspended any and all actions implementing the affected sections of the executive order,” said acting press secretary Gillian Christensen.
“DHS personnel will resume inspection of travelers in accordance with standard policy and procedure”, he added.

Kano DSS Director dies at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital
The Director of the Kano office of State Security Service, SSS, Abdullahi Chiranchi, has died. He died today at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital following complains of stomach cramps. He will be buried today in Katsina state according to Islamic rites. May his soul rest in peace Amen.
