Stephen Odey In Age Falsification Scandal, Kicked Out By Danish Club
The Nigeria Professional Football League top scorer, Stephen Odey is at the center on an alleged age falsification scandal which reports claim have already put paid to his ambition of joining Danish football team, FC Midtjylland.

An exclusive report on AOIFootball.com stated that Odey’s planned move to FC Midtjylland has collapsed due to age falsification. It was discovered that the age Odey presented in his passport was totally different from what was on his certificate. .

Reps Reject Oil Firms’ Relocation To Niger Delta
THE House of Representatives has been flayed for rejecting a proposal seeking the relocation of the operational and administrative offices of oil companies to the Niger Delta region, by the leadership of rights groups from the area.

The bodies, comprising the Niger Delta Security Watch Organisation of Nigeria (NDSWO), Ijaw Peoples Development Initiative (IPDI) and Foundation for Human Rights and Anti-Corruption Crusade (FHRACC), stated that a motion of such nature coming at a critical time ought to have been appreciated by all and sundry, insisting that if Nigeria must continue to protect her unity, then everyone must be his biblical brother’s keeper.

Expressing dismay at the cold treatment given to the motion sponsored by Goodluck Opiah, the civil society organisations described the action as unpatriotic and provocative.




Be Computer Literate Or Resign – Akeredolu Tells Workers
The Ondo State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, has advised civil servants in the state to learn how to get training on the use of computers for better productivity.

Akeredolu said his administration would not tolerate computer illiteracy in the state civil service, saying it would better for the service if all the workers were computer literate. He, therefore, asked any worker that is not ready to comply with the use of computer to resign.

Akeredolu stated this during the inauguration of the Ondo State Integrated Financial Management Information System project in Akure, the state capital.




Edo IDPs Get Relief Materials, Support From FG
Internally Displaced Persons camped in Edo State have received relief materials and support from the Federal Government while a committee was constituted to distribute such materials to IDPs in Edo, Abuja and three other states.

Members of the committee, which was led by Azarema Abdul-Kadiri, had paid a visit to the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki.

The Chief Press Secretary (Interim), Governor’s Office, John Mayaki, disclosed this in a statement on Friday, in which he said the committee would also be responsible for the distribution of relief materials in Adamawa, Bornu and Yobe states.

80 Kidnapped Chibok Girls Freed By Boko Haram

SaharaReporters has exclusively obtained information the Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, has released a batch of ore than 80 of the Chibok high school girls who were abducted in mid-April 2014. A top military source just broke to the news to Saharareporters.

According to the source, the release of the 80 abducted school girls came after further negotiations between the Islamist group and the Muhammadu administration. The source he was not in a position to disclose the terms of an agreement that led to today's mass release of the Chibok school girls.

Our source revealed that that the 82 girls who just regained their freedom are currently in Banki town in Borno state awaiting airlift to an unknown destination.

The source added that once the girls are secured in a new location they would be debriefed, undergo a psycological and medical test and then be reunited with their families.  //
