Iyanya says he has nothing but love for former partner Ubi Frankin and label mate Iyanya. The singer told Sunday Scoop when asked if he is happy about the recent success of Tekno and Ubi
“Why would people think that I’m not happy with Ubi’s success? It doesn’t make any sense. People just feel that whatever I tweet is directed at Ubi, and that whatever he says online is directed at me. That’s not so. We have all moved on with our lives. I do not fear anybody so if I want to talk about anybody, I would tag the person. If I don’t tag anybody in my social media posts, that means it’s just a general post and I’m not talking to anybody. People should just let it go. Sometimes, I post things because of what I heard or about life in general. I’ve got nothing but love for Ubi and Tekno right now,” he said
On how his career is faring, Iyanya said, “I have been getting amazing responses from fans over my songs. I thank God that I’m still here and I’ve got more music coming out. Expect more songs, videos and collaborations from me.”
