Chinonso is the widow of the late West Africa’s Idols star, Eric Arubayi. The widow, who is a make-up artist and Vlogger, is still mourning her late husband.
Sharing an inscription, the pretty widow stated widowhood is a journey you walk alone—no one can feel the pain, hurt and loneliness.
Then, on June 23, she posted a book written on widowhood by Addo Project and wrote:
“This past couple of months has been like walking through the fire and even though it seems like an endless furnace speaking to others who have walked this path and exchanging notes has been illuminating. I remember fighting back tears unwilling to accept the title of being a young widow but today someone said Happy international Widows day to me and I thought do widows have a day? Do widows deserve to be happy? When God takes you through the fire does he want you to remain burnt or to come out refined? ” (sic)
Eric Arubayi, her husband, was the 2007 Idols West African third runner-up and was a gospel singer. He attended the House on the Rock Church, Lagos.
He died on Saturday February 11, 2017 at the Delta State Teaching Hospital after suffering from malaria, went into a coma due to usage of an expired drug that affected his liver.
Eric and Chinonso had a son. //
