The Court of Appeal has ordered the Department of Social Services (DSS) to present the detained former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, before the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The Appeal Court made this ruling on Friday, saying his appearance is necessary as he will be testifying in defense of former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh, Punch reports.
The judgement, an unanimous one by the 3-man panel, included the ordering of Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja, before whom Metuh is being prosecuted, to immediately sign the subpoena filed by Metuh.
Justice Peter Ige, reading the judgement, asked that Justice Abang also indicate the date the DSS is to present Dasuki to the court, along with other dates.
