Fast rising Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo has come out to disagree with her colleague Actress Monalisa Chinda that domestic violence is a woman’s fault.
It can be recalled that Nollywood actress Monalisa Chinda claimed that most times domestic violence is a woman’s fault, you can read about it HERE.
Uche Ogbodo who recently released a new movie which spins around domestic violence said
‘I disagree with Monalisa. We all have our minds and how we understand certain things. You know they say women talk a lot but not all women talk… I don’t think she should capitalize on women being the cause of domestic violence because it is not true’.
She further said she decided to produce her movie ‘Stolen Vow’ was because the story could easily relate to every woman who has been through any form of domestic violence.
‘Women who go through such pain just bottle it all up. Stolen Vow, talks about a lady who was duped by a guy who came into her life with a master plan of destroying her. She so devastated that she almost lost her life in the process’.
