A Nigerian Twitter user has recounted how he was scammed in Computer village, Ikeja, Lagos when he wanted to buy a Nokia phone. Unfortunately for him when he left he discovered that what he got was a very white and warm, softly stirred fufu instead.
According to him, It happened in 2003, after he had saved money from his little pocket money to buy a phone at least to catch some attention in his class. The new of the phone he wanted to buy then was about 90k but saw someone in computer village who wanted to sell the same phone to him at the rate of 10k which was later discounted to 8K.
Hilarious part is how the fraudster manipulated the twitter user to quickly exchange the money for the phone with fufu.
