The most prominent rivalry in the Nigerian music industry at this age sees Davido and Wixkid on top of its list.
MTV Europe Music Awards has drawn the battle line once again as the event unveiles Nigerian acts Davido & Wizkid to slug it out in the Best African Act category along with South Africa’s Babes Wodumo & Nasty C, Angola’s C4 Pedro and Kenya’s Nyashinksi.
The MTV Europe Music Awards is set to go down on the 12th of December with Rita Ora as host.
Taylor Swift leads the pack with 6 nominations which includes a Best Video Act for her latest video “Look What You Made Me Do“. Close behind with 5 nominations are Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes and Kendrick Lamar.
This year, the Best Male & Best Female categories have been retired collapsing both into the Best Artist category which has; Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, Miley Cyrus, Shawn Mendes and Taylor Swift.
