Late Onyinyechi Joy Elekwachi
A Facebook user identified as Chinyere Nwachukwu Ibekwe, has taken to the social networking platform to share the heartbreaking news of the death of a 26-year-old lady, Onyinyechi Joy Elekwachi, who was reported dead on Monday, December 4, just few months after her wedding.
Late Elekwachi is set to be laid to rest on Wednesday, December 7, in Anambra state.
Chinyere who is a very close friend of the deceased, shared wedding pictures of late Elekwachi as she penned down her tribute.
Ibekwe’s post reads: “I FEEL BETRAYED AND ROBBED BY DEATH. My baby Dr Mrs Joy will finally be laid to rest on 7th December 2017. My dear baby, so sad that death has stolen your visions, dreams and captured a woman like you out of the Earth...why is there death at first? Death has made me feel your absence and has made tears roll down my cheeks in thousand ways but you remain evergreen in my heart, your memories live and one of my daughters must bear your name.
"Death has made me realize how life could be without you, each day since your death has made me sad remembering the fact that I will call your phone and it’s switched off, my chats are no longer delivering, network is not the problem again, the problem is DEATH! O Death where is thy sting? O grave where is thy Victory? Why did you do this? Anyways I take solace in God, having understood His word concerning your early departure from this earth, I know you are with Him, dear great Kingdom ambassador of our time.
"My tribute to you is so incomplete because words have failed me, but my own baby, we will meet some day and live forever in glory and strength. Tears flood my eyes writing this. RIP my own baby, RIP my own sister, RIP my own friend, RIP my chief bride's maid, RIP my own love, RIP my sweet heart, RIP my Kingdom Ambassador, RIP my Doctor, RIP Dr Joy.”
Some of her families have taken to their social media handle to mourn the deceased. A close member of the family, Ransome Chidubem Onuoha on his Facebook profile.
His post reads: “26-Year-Old Bride, Onyinyechi Joy Elekwachi Dies Months After Her Wedding; Friends Lament. A 26-year-old lady identified as Onyinyechi Joy Elekwachi, has left her family and friends in a sorrowful mood following her death. The young lady reportedly died some months after her wedding ceremony as she’s set to be laid to rest on Wednesday, December 7, in Anambra state. Her friends and colleagues have taken to their Facebook accounts to mourn the loss. May her soul rest in peace.”
