Isaac Babatunde, 25, was among the students who emerged as first class in the 2015/2016 academic session from University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID).
In spite of the incessant Boko Haram attacks that have shaped people’s experiences in Borno State, Babatunde was still able to make a 4.60 CGPA.
In an interview with Punch's TUNDE AJAJA, he said something striking about what his experience in the school had taught him...
When asked what his experience in UNIMAID had taught him, he stated that his experience in the school had taught him a lot.
According to him, it has taught him to be tolerant, it helped him develop the ability to get desired results under pressure and in an unstable environment, among other things.
He further stated that he can now live and work in any environment as long as there is oxygen to breathe.
Babatunde said he had no regret at all and that he was happy he attended the school because he was made in UNIMAID, just like the saying that 'if you want to be made, come to UNIMAID'.
