Miss Oluwatoni Sanni is the only African on the list of 1st Class Graduands in Accounting and Finance at the prestigious University of Bristol in the 2017 set. She was said to have also received MSc offers from all four of London School of Economics, Imperial college London.
She is the daughter of Toyin F Sanni who recently won the AABLA Business Woman of the year.
Toyin Sanni was declared the All African Business Woman of the year 2017 by CNBC Africa, & Nigeria’s CEO of the Year 2017 by Pearl Awards. She is a prominent Investment Banker, Public Personality & Speaker who derives satisfaction from grooming future leaders and from proferring capital solutions for financing & investment challenges of African governments, businesses & individuals.
She leads a multiple award winning group who provide advisory & capital raising solutions for infrastructure & development across Africa to achieve sustainable economic growth. Toyin is passionate about gender equality & has written two books for women – Yes, you too can maximize your life and Yes, you too can Get to the top.
Now, it’s her daughter who is making Nigeria proud.
Merrilyn who is the daughter of a dental surgeon, graduated with a first class honors in Psychology. She also won two other awards for highest academic achievements for the College of Arts and Sciences and College of General Studies.
Her feat made her share the podium with US First Lady, Michelle Obama, who attended the school’s convocation.
Last year, a Nigerian lady, Susan Diden graduated with First Class and Distinction from the University of Buckingham, UK. She graduated with Distinction and First Class degree in Law from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom.
She was also awarded prize for The Best Performance in Medical Law and Ethics and Joint prize for Best Performance in LLM 2016 Examination.
