The white wedding held at the Daystar christian centre, where she has diligently served as the head usher for 20 years now, and members of the church, including Pastor Sam Adeyemi, turned out en masse to support her.
An eye witness and member of the church in a chat with Kemi Filani Blog, gushed about the beautiful wedding thus:
This makes me soooo happy I want to cry. She always wanted this and would make reference to it every time she had an opportunity. She always desired to be married someday and is such a sucker for love. She would tease you and your husband if she sees you playing love in church and she always kept saying she is looking to settle down oo, if you have a fine respectable God fearing uncle…Even back then in my 300 level class in Daystar, she was in charge of our class, and never stopped bursting our brains. Look at GOD…Happy people deserve happiness… She finally found it at 61 years of age, you needed to see the way she flaunted her ring when she got engaged.. Ladies!
