22 students and teachers who died while on excursion laid to rest (Photos)

The 22 students and teachers of the Government Junior Secondary school student that died after their school bus was involved in a road accident have now been laid to rest.

According to report, the school bus carrying some students and academic staff From Government Day Secondary School in Misau, Bauchi state had an accident on their Way to Kano for excursion at Arewa24 TV station.

The funeral prayers took place yesterday at emir’s palace, Misau Emirate Council. It was gathered that the bus conveying them, had a head-on- collision with a truck while they were both trying to avoid a pot- hole at Samia Uku village.

The accident was said to have occurred at about 11.00 a.m. Eyewitnesses said the bus was on high speed, same as the trailer.
