The management of Heritage Bank has announced on their social media timeline on Instagram to debunk the rumours that 2018 Big brother Naija housemate Tobi is one of their staff.
In a brief statement issued by the bank, Tobi is not in any way affiliated with the bank as he resigned appropriately prior to the beginning of the show.
The statement reads;
“We know you have all been wondering about Tobi’s connection to Heritage Bank,” said the statement, adding, “This is to clarify that he is a former staff of the bank and resigned appropriately prior to the Big Brother Naija show @bigbronaija.”
This clarification by the bank came as a result of the speculations making rounds that the bank, which is the official sponsor of this year’s show, are influencing it in favour of the contestant.
The bank has made it known that they do not have any work with Tobi again therefore they are not influencing the show with their support for Tobi, just as perceived by some people.
It can be recalled that though Tobi didn’t give any hint if he was still with the bank, he had mentioned once on the show during the Pepsi Challenge, that the prize money for the challenge is a little bit more than what he earns annually from his bank job.
Some sources say he is from a very influential home with his dad rumoured to be a senior director at First City Monument Bank.
Some of his fans are even saying that if Cee-C understands what she is toying with she wouldn’t be misbehaving with Tobi who mentioned that he would live large if he eventually wins the ultimate prize of N45million, on the Big Brother Naija show.
