The richest woman in Nigeria Folorunsho Alakija has been in the news for a while now.
Last week, she was in the news for saying that she accepted her oil bloc out of faith and as expected, the news didn’t sit well with Nigerians.
Recently, in an interview with Punch, Folorunsho has revealed that her biggest regret is not having a female child. She said
“I would have said I would have loved to have a female child. But I can’t say that now because God has been merciful. We have two female grandchildren already. They made up for it.”
She further revealed that the biggest decision she has ever made in life is giving her life to Christ “Giving my life to Christ, at the time I did, I wondered what took me so long and why I did not know Him before that. That was 27 years ago. I give him all the glory.”
Folorunsho who was once the richest woman in Africa before she was dethroned by Angolan businesswoman Isabel Dos Santos.
