Warner Bros. World has released a statement, confirming that there will be four attractions in total, with each promising to plunge us into Bruce Wayne’s dark universe.
Naturally, there will be a Batman ride which promises to combine “a high-tech flight simulator with immersive scenery and state-of-the-art special effects” to take us through a secret panel at Wayne Tech where visitors will be “recruited as test pilots for the newest prototype of the ultimate urban patrol vehicle”.
Next up is the Scarecrow Scare Ride, an interactive experience dedicated to Scarecrow’s latest psychological experiments featuring “dramatic aerobatics and whirlwind barrel rolls”. We’ll also be getting a rollercoaster called the Riddler Revolustion and a Joker’s Funhouse, filled with a hall of mirrors, a shrinking corridor, a labyrinth, a hallucination hallway and moving carpets.
According to the press release, we’ll be seeing elements from both the comics and the movies and the attractions will, of course, all be surrounded by themed restaurants and shops. As such, you’ll be able to dine in the Hall of Doom and get ice cream treats from a Mr. Freeze truck. Tiny Dark Knight fans will also enjoy a small family playground.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi opens in summer 2018. We can’t wait.
