Yusuf Buhari looks well and happy after bike accident.
Below are pictures showing Yusuf Buhari as he arrived Nigeria from a medical trip abroad. He was ferried out of the country after he was injured in a power bike accident in Gwanripa neighbourhood in Abuja while drag racing with a friend, Bashir Gwandu. Mr. Adesina claims Gwandu was not injured in the crash as reported in newspapers and social media outlets.
It is said that Yusuf broke his limb and sustained a head injury in the crash; a check on the hand showed it was fractured, and while at the Abuja hospital, he never regained his speech due to traumatic brain injury.
Reports have it that Yusuf was flown to St. Josef Hospital in Wiesbaden, Germany after medical sources said he had remained largely unresponsive to treatment at Cedarcrest Hospital where he was first taken after the bike accident in Abuja. The presidency earlier denied such report but Saharareporters authoritatively learnt that he was ferried out of Nigeria through the Presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
His departure came after his sister, Mrs. Halima Buhari-Sherif and the official physician to the first lady, Kamal Mohammed arrived Stuttgart on a Bombardier Challenger 600 Presidential jet with registration number 5N-FGZ.
Source at the presidency gathered that the BMW power-bikes, with a whopping sum of $157, 000 each from Germany were acquired secretly by Yusuf around June, 2017 at the instance of his friend, Bashir Gwandu. The bikes were kept at Gwandu’s residence, located in Gwarinpa District, in the Bwari Local Government Area
Yusuf, who is attached with three operatives from the Department of State Service (DSS) reportedly struck a deal with his security details, who allowed him to always sneak out in the night for racing at Gwandu’s place.
