Coca-Cola has officially launched it’s first alcoholic drink after somany years of being king of soda/beverages. The company produced a lemon flavoured alcopop, in Japan
According to sources, it’s target market are the young drinkers especially females in the society. The sale of the three fizzy lemon drinks went on sale on Monday.

Though the drink is still being tested overseas, it is yet to gain acceptance within the shores of Nigeria. Coca-Cola says there are no plans to bring the new drinks range to markets outside Japan.
Alcopop drinks boomed in Europe and the UK in the 1990s with the likes of Smirnoff Ice and Bacardi Breezer becoming hugely popular. They were controversial, with concerns they encouraged young people to drink more alcohol because of soft drink-like taste.
