The Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) injection substation in the Alagbon area of Ikoyi, Lagos state was gutted by fire in the early hours of Thursday, May 3, 2018.
According to the EKEDC’s Public Relation Officer, Godwin Idiemudia, the fire started around 5:00am after a loud bang was heard.
