An interview with Ajibade Alabi reveals that late actress Aisha Abimbola was a Christian even though pictures from her burial in Canada shows she was buried in the Islamic way. In the interview, she spoke of how she converted to Christianity even though she was born into a Muslim home. According to her, she converted due to convictions in her mind and not what anyone told her.
Her quote below.
”That is testimony, my parents were Muslims and even before my dad died, I had been attending church. It was a little bit painful in the first place but he would not just stop me. Then when you have some convictions within you, not that anybody has told you, nobody would stop you. And that was why I went into Christianity. It is what nobody told me to do; it is what I wanted to do. I wanted to do it a long time ago and I told my dad, so he was aware before his death.”
Aisha Abimbola passed away on the 15 of May 2018. The actress who became popular with her role in the Bola Igida movie, “Omoge Campus.” died due to breast cancer and has been laid to rest in Canada with the Canadian government and her family taking full responsibility.
