The National Coordinator of the group, Isaac Balami, who led top management team of the Nigeria Rebirth National Project to the Abuja office of DAILY POST, for the award presentation, noted that the medium is indeed “the most read online newspaper.”
Balami, who is also the President of the National Association of Aircraft Pilots And Engineers, NAAPE, said the news platform through its style of reportage has proven to be a true indigenous company that believes in the Nigerian vision.
According to him, “We are here because of the role DAILY POST has played in the Nigeria Rebirth project. You are the first media house that keyed into this vision.
“The Nigeria Rebirth Project is happy to be associated with you, DAILY POST, because you have proven to be a true Nigerian company that believes in the vision of this country. The way and manner you write your stories; inculcating transparency and investigation; have already endeared you to us and we are happy to be associated with you.
“In this world of today, you can’t achieve anything without the media. We know how powerful you are and that is why we have come to your office, we want to assure you of our full commitment and of cause we are partners now. If you see us doing what is wrong, you can advise us professionally,” Balami said.
In his response, DAILY POST Editor, Mr. Ali Adoyi, who received the award on behalf of the organization, stated that it was a great honour for the organization to host the Nigeria Rebirth team in what he termed special award presentation.
