While speaking to the press yesterday, Fatai Owoseni, The Lagos State Police Commissioner revealed the the planned February 6th protest might be stopped.
Hoodlums he said will use the protest as an avenue to rob, steal and harrass the public. Moreover organisers of the protest have not informed the state police about the protest.
“Information reaching us revealed that some hoodlums are planning to hijack the peaceful protest. And as such, we won’t allow it to hold in Lagos. We know that Tuface do not have the capacity to contain such a crowd and we will not fold our hands and watch while things go out of hand.” he said
